Custom Roller Shade Window Treatments for an Upper East Side Apartment

An apartment in the Upper East Side needed new window shades. Years of wear and tear plus sun and weather element exposure caused these shades to show their age.
The client chose roller shades complete with a new fascia. The fascia is important as it conceals mounting hardware and gives the window treatment a nice finished look. The chosen shade type is 5% sheer. 5% sheer level blocks 95% of the light from the outside, giving the apartment filtered light even when it is down.
The before and after is drastic. The light color goes well with freshly painted walls.
After the initial appointment with the client, we dropped off samples directly at the building so they could see and feel the material in person. It helps people visualize the finished look by holding the samples to their windows. Once the material was confirmed, we took guaranteed measurements and placed the order.
Installation was quick with our three-man crew. We were in and out in one day.
We work quickly and always aim to leave the place cleaner than we entered. We follow Co-Op building rules and have the insurance to work in basically any building on the Upper East Side.
