Remote Controlled Shades for Hard-to-Reach Windows
Who doesn’t love high ceilings in their home? Who doesn’t love lots of windows and natural light in their living room?
All great things, but what about windows that are 12 feet off the ground? How do you control the blinds and the brightness throughout the day?
This was the very question our client asked when they contacted us. They have a double-height living room with 2 rows of windows.
The bottom row was easy to reach —no big deal —but when it came to the upper row, they weren’t sure what to do. The previous owner had left the upper row of windows completely bare. However, our client wanted to control. See the video below!
We installed custom-fitted light-filtering roller shades in the upper row of windows. Powered by Somfy, these shades are easy to control via remote control.
These shades are great for dampening natural light without blacking out the windows.
